Watford Quality Care Centre provides specialized health and personal care for every resident’s needs.
Skin Care
Watford Quality Care Centre has an active Interdisciplinary Skin Care Team under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner. The focus of the team is to maintain excellence in skin care, the prevention of skin break down and ongoing education of staff, residents and family.
Footcare
Watford Quality Care Centre has trained staff to perform basic and advanced foot care to residents who require this. Advanced foot care clinics are held about every 4 weeks.
Laboratory Services
We have a lab technician who visits our home weekly to perform lab tests ordered by the physician. Results are then communicated back to the home within a 24-hour timeframe.
Pharmacy
Silver Fox Pharmacy is the home’s provider for resident medications. We have our own pharmacy consultant who visits regularly to assist staff, residents and families with any medication-related concerns.
Palliative Care
The 3 main goals of palliative care are to relieve pain and other symptoms, address emotional and spiritual concerns, and those of your caregivers; and coordinate your care.
