Approval for Redevelopment

WATFORD APPROVED FOR 33 NEW LONG TERM CARE BEDS AND REDEVELOPMENT OF 63 EXISTING BEDS

Wonderful and exciting news for Watford and the surrounding community was issued by the Minister of Long Term Care Thursday March 18th. The Ontario Provincial Government has approved the Redevelopment of Watford Quality Care Centre including the addition of 33 beds.

I am thrilled to share this news with the community and want to first and foremost thank the dedicated and caring staff at the Home who provide exceptional care and service to the elderly residents accommodated at the Home. The staff deserve this award to allow them to carry out their mission of love and care in an environment that will enhance the quality of life for each and every resident.

I want to acknowledge the hard work and leadership that each of the members of the Management team bring everyday to the Home. Their dedication and commitment to ensuring Quality, Compassionate and Care is the central focus of what we do at the home has motivated me to strive to obtain approval for expansion and rebuild of Watford Quality Care Centre.

I also want to acknowledge Warwick Municipal Council for their support of our application to the Provincial Government for this project. In particular I thank Mayor Jackie Rombouts for both her moral support and her efforts in championing our cause within Government circles.

Stay tuned for future articles that will describe the construction project.
